(Perspective) Biblical: "Feels kinda like a SECRET but not REALLY"

11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. -Galatians 1:11-12

Dafaque does that even mean?!

I know, it feels as if we're speaking some hidden language or something but I can assure you it's really not complicated. Hopefully to anyone confused by Paul's writings (you're not the only one) after browsing this you'll have an epiphany. I pray you do.

1 Corinthians 2:6-16

Spiritual Wisdom

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [a]ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the [b]Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

All that is pretty much saying is you won't understand because you don't love God. It is essentially pointless and stupid. If your mind is made up with man's wisdom exclusively, then you won't get it. But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

How do you LOVE someone or something you DON'T BELIEVE in? How do you get this thing called "FAITH" to LOVE  GOD in order to UNDERSTAND what's been?  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [a]ordained before the ages for our glory,

If it's not a secret, like I stated, then why is it "hidden wisdom," or a "mystery?!"

It's a mystery because you don't believe. It's not a secret. This is up to you. Your mind. Your choice. It's been explained. It's not a secret. You won't get it until YOU want to get it. Once you accept, then the "mysteries" won't be a mystery to you anymore.

If you want the mysteries explained, then ask for it:

Proverbs 8:17

17 I love those who love me,
And those who seek me diligently will find me.

(Perspective) Biblical: Freedom In The House Of Mourning

Countless times I've expressed the expansive variety of options we're gifted here on Earth. Why do we limit ourselves to options ABCD, though? We're told we have free will. We're told we can do what we want with our bodies and choose when to have kids  But what does it really look like to have free will? I'll tell you now. Not caring about the options at all. Seeing everything as a gift. Realizing this world was designed to be enjoyed and lived in to the fullest extent possible. Again, why limit ourselves to simple options? Pick whatever car you want (as long as it's the color options they've presented you with.) Eat whatever type of french fry, icecream, or food that is available on the menu list at your favorite restaurant. We have personal preferences and there's nothing wrong with having options and opinions. The question poised here is simple: Are you really free, or just given options?  I was blessed to hear a wonderful sermon that presented this w...
