Segment 1: Been reading comments from the most recent issue of CA Educator magazine August/September regarding the cover photo of their June/July issue, severely critiquing a rendition of Birth of Venus and Rosie The Riveter. Most posted comments are focused her looks and features. Can a woman not be simply a woman? It's also an animated depiction, but still. One quote: "Too bad an artist did not create an image of blended ethnic heritage to reflect the changing demographic of teachers in our population."

What happened to inclusion? Everyone counts? You're doing exactly what you're claiming not to like. Why are you judging this woman's depiction? Why are you severely critiquing the artist's work? Whether or not you agree with finished product, your severe criticism is the reason so many people are too fearful to embark on their dreams. Open the magazine and there is a wealth of diversity. "Hair Love" is shared within the pages, a black father attempting to style his daughter's luscious hair while their mother is away.

Illustration by Bob Venables what I see is a hard working woman. I see the original painting, mixed with another revolutionary era, mixed with our current events. And if you'd look closer you'd realize this depiction is much more telling and more disturbing than what you're "offended by."

Segment 2: Health crisis plaguing our country. White women affected by infertility. Black women affected as well with several health concerns. Women need to approach one another differently. Empowerment starts with our choices, starting with our thoughts. Personal experience, coming from a mixed background and daughter with pale complexion and colored eyes, despite ethnic heritage. Bringing up that story Hair Love. It also depicts the health crisis plaguing everyone. 

Segment 3: Film,  Death Sentence. Great warning for retaliation and Potentially Becoming What You Detest. Our Thoughts also need to be held accountable even if no one else knows what you're thinking. It catches up to you, affects your overall health in long run. Ultimately, myself included, be careful where your thoughts lead you before you become the person you don't like.

Closing: Hope whenever you're consuming this content, hope you're doing well. Tomorrow will be discussing more of the health crisis hitting our country. Black women's health concerns with stats and articles. Talking as well about the fertility rates within White women with stats and articles. Overall, mental health crisis is severe. Many riddled with anxiety and depression. Some of the best ways to improve mental health is to change your thinking.

15 December 2021 Dream

Dream last night was trying to meet someone outside to talk in person. Guess I got impatient.  Was outside at night fall. Was able to read street sign that read "Lara". Walked down the road to food joint. Inside I see some small black square shaped folding table, that some well dressed Mexican man was holding up, then allowed to fall and collapse. I was frustrated and annoyed that he left that mess. I attempted to fix the table. He quietly laughed to himself at my struggle.  I start laughinig like him in a mocking way. There were a couple of small stuffed pillows that I tossed to the ground with every laugh walking towards him. He looked at me pissed off and angry. A full cup of Coke in a paper cup with the lid on sat on the table where he stood next to it. He knocked it over and it spilled all over the floor leaving a long trail throughout the entire length of the restaurant. I hopped over it and said, "I'm not cleaning that. Respect Rules and Regulations

2 Timothy 2:5  "And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules." I find it interesting how mad people can get when a referee makes a bad call during a sporting event. I find it very interesting how angered and outraged a group of peoople will act when they're under the impression their team should have won, and lost due to rules being broken and someone failing to do their job right and make the correct call.  Many of these same people committed to these teams and their strict terms of correctness, also tend to ignore many rules of life.   I won't deny  that many rules are arbitrary, don't make sense and are designed to disenfranchise groups of people. Many are forced on people that deny your right to life.  Combat those things with respect. If it goes against your conscience which is part of you, you have the right to defend yourself.
