Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” The Holy Spirit indwells us. Logically, we know as believers that the Lord is always with us. Verse 9 confirms this and comforts us, “Be strong and of courage; do not be afraid…the Lord is your God.” But before all that comfort comes the Command part most of try to avoid.
