Jesus Who?
Read John 18:17 , 25-27 , John 21: 15-17 , John 13: 37-38
One can only imagine how devastated Christ felt. The interesting thing is, He already knew what would happen. As part man, was He subject to the earthly emotions? Have you ever experienced anything similar? You’re rallying support to confront a boss then the boss asks if everyone agrees and suddenly all your support says, “We don’t know what he’s talking about.” Anyone ever accused you of being crazy? I’m sure a lot of good laughs were had. Jesus was mocked and laughed at as well during this. He really can relate to our earthly trials.
So now it’s after the resurrection. These disciples are going on with their lives. Was Peter plagued by guilt at all? Was he on the fishing boat thinking what a jerk he was or imagining what would have happened if he would have stayed with Christ or admitted he did know the Man.
Speaking of "knowing The Man": Have we ourselves ever denied knowing Christ when we had the opportunity to spread the gospel message?
It can be difficult in a society where Christ is openly mocked, we’re told separation of Church and State, many are triggered or offended by the patriarchy, focused on their new age faith backgrounds. The thing is, we’re asked not to deny Christ. Profess faith but not to waste our energy on someone who clearly is opposed to the faith or openly mocking it. If the person wants to talk more then continue from there. Do not dismiss or deny your faith.

I don’t know Him. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Jesus who?Did it cross Peter’s mind during their breakfast by the sea exchange that as many times as Christ asked him: “Do you love Me?”, that’s the amount of times Peter denied Him?

Do you love Christ? Do you love God the Father? Do you love the Holy Spirit? God in three persons Blessed Trinity. Do you love Jesus? Feed His lambs. Do you love Jesus? Tend His sheep. Do you love Jesus? Feed His sheep.
