Read Psalm 19
Reading this Psalm in particular truly captures the full essence of who God is, how we relate to Him, and offers a complete nurturing of our spirit we need in times of trial, all in one condensed passage. My NKJV captions this Psalm “The Perfect Revelation of the Lord”. Agreed. Verses 1-6 speak on His magnificent power. Verses 7-14 goes into the essence of God and His Nature.
Verses: 7-9 straight forward and speaks for itself,
Special Attention:
Verse 10: How Law is desired more than fine gold, sweeter than honey
Verse 11: there is a great reward in keeping the commands
Verse 12: convictions and request for God’s help
Verse 13: the request spoken, “Let them (sin) not have dominion over me."
Verse 14: request and acknowledgement of who God is to us:

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever, The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.“The fear of the Lord”, I must make special mention of this word “fear” and our western understanding. The connotation is not the same as in fearful or scared. It is a reverent awe inspiring and humbling fear when you consider the awesome works of God and all His glory power and might. Imagine if you will, meeting a personal hero or a celebrity you have always looked up to.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer
