Men's Issues

Something new and original. Wasn't that John Nash's goal? An original thought? The interest was in the mind and new discovery. "No one go for the blonde," scene depicted in the film rendition of his life, A  Beautiful Mind. Let's make sure everyone has a fair shot, and an equal opportunity for fun and adventure on the dating scene.  Over the years I've head many a tale of the men and their let downs with women. It's frustrating as a person who identifies as female to attempt to empathize, when you too, have had your fair share of let downs with men. We joke and laugh at man's "MiD liFe CrIsIs" and sudden decrease in testosterone . Women have a lot of support and social groups, surrounding the sensitive subject of menopause. Do men have them for andropause ? Ladies joke about ED and other related concerns in that region. Is that why so many males are so quick to jump to sex workers?  There's a lot more secrets, and what nots for a later da...

"Thank You For the Music"

"Thank you for the music," to Lemoore High School, students, staff, parents, and especially to the President of their Theatrical Department for the invition to expereience this. LIVE Theatre! There is nothing quite like it. Mamma Mia has been performed countless times across the world, even with a screen adapatation. It flops in comparison to Lemoore High's stunning perfromance.  Supremely well casted, with an extensive array of genuine natural talent. Sophie enters, perfromed by Ms. Raber, voice clear, confident, carrying her powerful voice to the audience's ears directing us along. "Thank you for the music," is the best way to set this musical in to motion.  Donna's character, performed by Ms.Taylor, perfectly exhibited the movements and emotions of a woman in turmoil. Her voice carried the anguish and heaviness of a mother who's heart is torn.  The potential father roles for Sophie: Sam, Bill, and Harry individually sincere...

(Perspective) Biblical "A Sword In The Heart"

Mary Pondered many things in her heart : Luke 2:19, Luke 1:38, from the angel announcing  Jesus's Birth and the Lord finding favor in her, to speaking to Simeon in Luke 2:33-35, to Mary finding Jesus in the temple and hearing His response to her ( Luke 2:49 ).  Simeon warned Mary a sword would pierce her heart (soul). Later in Jesus' life, she and Joseph anxiously searched for Jesus three days and found him in the temple. Luke 2:44-50 Years later He was crucified on the cross. Did His mother remember that feeling, those three days prior? Was her heart already prepared to the anguish she would feel? Was she forewarned about the pain she would endure that day? Does God prepare our hearts? Did she know that her Son Christ would come back either time? The Sword that pierced her heart, the same heart that pondered so many things surrounding this man Jesus.   Luke 1: 46-55 And like Mary, there are countless mothers out there carrying a sword pierced heart. Please consider...

(Perspective) Biblical: "Annie Are You Okay"

Ananias was a name I had considered for a son and jokingly giving him the nick name "Annie," in comparison to the Jonny Cash song, " A Boy Named Sue ." The idea was to make light of it, give him thick skin, and essentially laugh it off.  At that time I was only aware of one Ananias in the book of Acts. The story of Saul on the Road to Demascus ( Acts 9:10-17 ) where he experienced his conversion to Paul. After studying more of Acts I was surprised to discover the first one and his wife Sapphira ( Acts 5:1-5) . Opted for another name. The repetition of names is intriguing.  Two men with the same exact name yet extremely varying character traits. Ananias 1 lied witholding money from the growing church despite being welcomed and part of the church family. The second Ananias was instructed by the Lord to aide Saul despite his fear of Saul's reputation of persecuting the church. Ananias 2 baptized Saul and led him into a new walk with Christ. Saul's name was chan...
